I would say that yes, the Law is perfect, but perfect in its context of place and time of where and when it was given. The Torah is perfect, but the people who are supposed to keep it are not. The Torah does not have the power to transform them from the inside by the power of the Holy Spirit. It doe...

I may be wrong, but I have the impression that you have a bone to pick, with some amount of frustration in the tone of your posts. You state that you c...

I don't see it as a contradiction at all. Do we not often encounter real life situations where someone may have a legitimate authority but where his character is not worthy of his office? If your boss displays moral weakness or even hypocrisy, this does not mean that you should disobey him when he r...

dear Glory71, there is no need to overreact. You didn't write anything wrong, and this is why your post was not deleted. There is also nothing wrong to discuss pro-life issues on the forum. It's just that, as Hadassah has pointed out, your post was more like a dissertation than a starter for a discu...

To tell you the truth it doesn't make sense to me that Jewish converts to Catholicism would still continue to follow circumcision, the Passover or other Jewish practices. Simply because Baptism replaced circumcision, Sunday Mass the Sabbath, Easter or even the Eucharist replaced the Passover and so...

New articles posted in FAQ section. These are on the foundational issues of replacement theology and dual-covenant theology that I've been wanting to add for a long time.

Jacques Maritain was a genius with a unique insight into the mystery of Israel. Maybe being married to a Jewish woman helped.

Mike, Naturei Karta are most certainly a fringe group. And I don't know what they hope to accomplish by meeting the president of Iran who unashamedly calls for the annihilation of a whole nation. I am aware that the ultra-orthodox are generally opposed to the state of Israel, but they are certainly ...

Miryam, a new...
